Sustainable Farming Discussion Group – Hallora – Soil Carbon focus

The next WPCLN Sustainable Farming Discussion Group will be held at Niels & Marja Olsen’s farm and the focus will be on soil carbon. The Olsen family run a 120ha property with cows and calves and are believed to be the first farmers anywhere in the world  to be paid for soil carbon under a government regulatory system. We will talk about the soil carbon program they are participating in and the methods they are using to build soil carbon. We will also do a farm walk to view the pastures and crops. An interesting morning is assured!
