Sustainable Farming Discussion group – Neerim High Plains

You are invited to the next WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group at Neerim High Plains at Neerim Junction. Farmers from the Neerim/Jindivick areas are most welcome to attend also.
Cathy runs a Brangus breeding herd and grows multi species pastures on her 200ha farm at Neerim Junction and has been trialling regenerative practices for several years.
Between 2018-2023 the Tarago Catchment Healthy Farms Program supported a 4 year demonstration to increase understanding on how multi species pasture established with Soilkee technology may be used to benefit both pasture growth and species composition, soil health and animal productivity.
Peter Ronalds will share the results of the demonstration, and Cathy will show us the paddock, multi-species pastures, and the livestock.
An interesting morning is assured!
