WPCLN Sustainable Farming Discussion Group – Regenerative farming

Our next WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group is with regenerative dairy farmers Owen Billing & Andrea Benson via Zoom.
Owen & Andrea are dairyfarmers who manage approx 240ha near Korumburra and have been on a regenerative farming journey for about 15 years. Owen will talk about the reason why he transitioned to regenerative agriculture, along with the methods they have trialed on their farm including establishing multi-species pastures and using a range of water soluble inputs.
Owen will also talk about benefits the change has made to their cows health and their health along with some of the challenges they have faced and some of the things he would do differently in retrospect!
And most importantly, there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
