Sustainable Farming Discussion Group – Drouin South

All farmers are invited to the first WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group for 2021 at Trevor & Anne-Marie Mills ‘Minnieburn Springs’ farm at Drouin South. The topic for the morning will be ‘establishing and managing multi-species pastures’.
Trevor and Anne-Marie have been trialling different ways to establish and manage multi species pastures on their dairy farm using a range of techniques and species – with some successes and some failures!
Trevor is keen to state that he is no expert but he is happy to share with us what he has trialled on his farm and show us what equipment he uses to try to increase pasture diversity.
This will be a really interesting morning and I look forward to seeing you all on the 23rd.

COVID regulations must be followed. Do not attend if you are unwell. We will be outdoors in a large open shed & also in paddocks.
