Sustainable Farming Discussion Group – Bushfire cleanup Tonimbuk

The next WPCLN Sustainable Farming Discussion Group will be held at Ingrid & Robert Green’s farm at Tonimbuk.
Robert & Ingrid (along with many other farmers) in the Tynong Nth – Labertouche area were impacted by the recent Bunyip bushfire.
As they attend our discussion group, instead of our normal farm walk & discussion, we will assist them with some practical support & encouragement including; rolling up burnt wire, clearing fallen trees off fencelines and other clean up jobs as required.
If you have fencing pliers, bolt cutters, chainsaw, drag chain, ute, then please bring, but if not, don’t worry, please come anyway.
Please bring yourself, sturdy gloves & wear suitable clothing. There will be jobs for all abilities & you won’t be expected or asked to do anything beyond your capability.

Time: 9:30am morning tea, 10am: Safety briefing 10:15am – 12:30pm cleanup
