Sustainable Farming Disc Group – Queensferry Waters Farm – Grantville

All farmers are invited to the next WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group at Queensferry Waters farm at Grantville.
John & Carmel Carney recently purchased their farm, and run steers. It is situated adjacent to Westernport Bay, and has large areas of coastal vegetation and can be very wet!
John participated in the 2022 Regenerative Agriculture training program, has planted over 5000 trees in July, improving pasture, mulching, and been sowing some multi species pastures. The transformation they have made in only a couple of years is quite outstanding. There is still plenty of work to do, and John will share his story as we have a farm walk & discussion.
An interesting morning is assured!
Because it is a bit of a drive for some, we will chuck a few snags on the bbq for lunch, so hang around for a chat over lunch.
