All growers are invited to attend the next organic vegie/fruitgrowers discussion group at Tony & Sue’s ‘Orchard End Farm’ on Tues 20th April.
‘Orchard End Farm’ is a multi-enterprise organic farming business. Sue and Tony have a blueberry plantation with 1100 bushes and also
grow a number of varieties of garlic. They also run Limousin breeders that are currently crossed with a red Angus bull.
They have recently gone through organic certification and they will share their experiences and we will also have a farm walk.
Chris Alenson will facilitate discussion on organic certification, the process, differences between organic accreditation bodies, derogations and answer any questions you have.
This will be an interesting afternoon, and we look forward to seeing you all there.
