Morn Pen Farmer Discussion Group – Livestock internal parasite control & safe chemical handling
Join us at Eddie and Sally Matt’s farm “Hillock Downs”, to discuss the in’s and out’s of internal parasite control in livestock. Topics will include:
 The safe and appropriate use and handling of drenching and ‘pour on’ chemicals,
application and equipment.
 Calculating accurate livestock weights for correct chemical dosage.
 Vendor obligations and declarations upon sale of livestock etc.
 Eddie and Sally will also host “Guess the Vealer Weight” and we will check your guess against a weigh tape and electronic scales
