From 1 October 2017 a requirement of the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program is that you must have a Farm Biosecurity Plan which will be subject to audit by LPA. The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program is the Australian livestock industry’s on-farm assurance program covering food safety, animal welfare and biosecurity. It provides evidence of livestock history and on-farm practices when transferring livestock through the value chain.
For our first session of 2018 we will walk through the LPA biosecurity forms at Balnarring Hall. David Stewart will go through the requirements and help answer any questions regarding the document. Please bring your LPA document hardcopy and a pen. You can access the document here
