Farm Dam – eDNA Reveal night! – Jindivick & Neerim District Landcare Groups

THE RESULTS ARE IN!!
Every creature leaves traces of their DNA in their surrounding aquatic or terrestrial environment, through skin cells, hair, and other Bodily secretions. This is environmental DNA (eDNA).
30 locals have been involved in a study to find wildlife in farm dams around Jindivick & Neerim District. 16 dams have been sampled for eDNA in both Spring & Autumn. Join us at the Reveal Night to learn about:
• What we got up to in the project
• What wildlife we found
• What you can do to ensure your farm dam plays an important role to support biodiversity, while still being a productive asset for your property.
