Agroforestry in Gippsland – A viable adaption strategy in a changing climate

An event organised by the Gippsland Agroforestry Network & linked in with the LVI conference.
Come along and learn about agroforestry.
In this farm walk, led by landowner Mark Walters, we will discuss topics such as;
Social licencing
Government support
Management and harvesting
Code of Forest practice

Speakers include:
Chris Rankin, South Gippsland Shire Council speaking on planning considerations;
Dr Nerida Anderson, University of Melbourne, speaking on carbon sequestration in an agroforestry situation; and
Jeremy Allen, DELWP Manager of Forest Regulation, speaking on the Code of Forest Practice as it applies to private land
