1 Day – 3000 plants – come and join us! Sausage sizzle and coffee cart

Cannibal Creek Landcare Group and Melbourne Water invite you to join us in planting 3,000 plants in one day.
Date: Sunday, 7th May, 2023
Time: 9.30 am – 2 pm
Meeting place: Lovers Lane, Garfield, parking available at planting site
Type of activity: Plant 3000 indigenous tube stock to revegetate 3 acres of land to create habitat for local endangered species such as Southern Brown Bandicoot. Walkers Road Drain is part of Cardinia Shire’s Biolink Plan.
What to bring: Gloves, sturdy and waterproof footwear, sunscreen, hat, eye protection, water bottle.
Food: A coffee van will be available and a sausage sizzle lunch will be provided for all volunteers
