Farmers are invited to our next WPCLN Sustainable Farming discussion group at Scott Bentley’s farm at Poowong.
Scott & Kylie own a beautiful property at Poowong. They run a herd of approx 120 cows plus young stock on their 200 acres property and sell them as vealers. Scott manages his farm quite similarly to a dairy farmer, with the herd moved daily to fresh pasture.
Scott purchased their farm 3 years ago, and is in the process of setting up water points and low cost cell grazing fencing which we will look at and discuss.
Scott participated in the 2022 Regenerative Agriculture Program, and is looking forward to being part of our group and welcoming you all to his farm.
Feel free to bring a sandwich and a camp chair and chat over your lunch before you head home. This will be our final gathering for 2022, and an interesting morning is assured!
