Rob Sargeant (Monash Uni) – results of current research on pollution & their sources in the Tarago catchment
Helen Barclay (enviroDNA) – new methods to monitor biodiversity in waterways through DNA monitoring
Andrew Stanton (Baw Baw Shire) – wastewater & septic options for landholders
Steve Haughton (Habitat Creations) – planting wet areas (what species to use etc)
We will visit the Neerim South wetlands after lunch to view different plant species and to conduct some water monitoring through enviroDNA methods.
