Tarago Catchment Bus Tour – Neerim South

The Tarago Catchment Healthy Farms Program is running a Bus trip/Field day focusing on catchment management around the Tarago Reservoir.
We will travel in the bus to the top of the Tarago Reservoir catchment (perhaps the original Bunyip or Pederson Weir), talk about the history of the weir and reservoir and drive around the edge of the reservoir on the limited access road. We will view some ‘Tarago Healthy Farms’ projects on local farms and farmers will talk about the benefits of the program to their property.
Other stops could include the Melbourne Water Treatment Plant at Drouin West.
Meet at Neerim South Recreation Reserve carpark at 9:45am
There will be strong interest in this day & ONLY 24 seats are available on a first in best dressed basis!
