Sustainable Farming Disc Group – Neerim Junction

The next WPCLN Sustainable Farming Discussion Group will be held at Cathy Briant & Andrew Peart’s farm.
Cathy & Andrew run Brangus breeders & grow crops on their 110ha farm at Neerim Junction. The focus will be on “linkages between soil tests and plant tissue tests”. We have recent soil test & plant tissue test results from the same paddock & we will compare the differences and discuss the results. Chris Alenson will lead this discussion.
We will also have a farm walk and view the cattle, pastures & soils. Please bring waterproof boots as we will be using a foot-bath for bio-security purposes. Please bring a chair also.
An interesting morning is assured! Feel free to bring a sandwich & continue discussions over lunch!
