Sustainable Farming Disc Group – IPM in pastures

Our next discussion group focuses on pasture pests! We continue to meet online and all are welcome.
Over the past year, Tony has been trialing ways to manage lucerne flea and red legged earthmite in pastures though the sowing of targeted pasture species when renovating his pasture which are designed to disrupt the lifecycle of these pests. Tony has had support from Paul Horne & Jess Page from IPM Technologies who have been monitoring the insects in the pasture and trying to replicate the results with pot trials. Paul and Jess will join us for our Zoom catchup, along with Karen Thomas from the PPWCMA who has also been involved in the project.
