Organic Vegie/Fruit Growers Discussion Group – Gawler Foundation POSTPONED

You are invited to attend the next organic vegie/fruitgrowers discussion group at The Gawler Cancer Foundation and the Yarra Valley Living Centre!
Wendy & Ben grow organic vegetables on 1 acre along with a poly tunnel to feed the participants attending the retreat who are profoundly challenged by illnesses such as cancer & Multiple Sclerosis. Wendy & Ben will show us the gardens and we will discuss challenges such as nutgrass control on organic farms.
In addition, Stacey the chef will talk about her role in creating & preparing organic food for the clients. Daniel who is a therapist at Gawler will explain the programs offered, and Chris Alenson will talk about the links between soil and food health!
This will be a very interesting afternoon as we view this amazing not for profit facility.
