Come along to hear from Joel Salatin – all the way from the USA – right here in our backyard.
Joel will be giving a talk on regenerative farming at Glenburn Hall. Joel is an ambassador for regenerative farming, having developed the concept on his Polyface Farm in Virginia and is an advocate for robust direct-to-consumer farm sales. He has also produced a host of documentaries and authored 8 best-selling books, including the internationally acclaimed “Folks, This Ain’t Normal”. Learn more about Joel at www.polyfacefarms.com.
Following Joel’s talk, he will then lead a farm walk at nearby “Tom’s Paddock”. Having sought inspiration from Joel Salatin, Tom’s Paddock is helping our community re-engage with where their food is grown using holistic farming practices.
