Jindivick Rabbit Reduction – Field Day

Council will be hosting an information session on how to eradicate rabbits, focusing on different control techniques.
A community eradication program is being supported by Council due to the rabbit numbers in the area.
Guest speaker; Dominic Bromilow from ‘deepergreen’ an integrated pest management consultant will provide information about controlling rabbits including
 Periods for baiting
 Humane live trapping
 Habitat modification
 Combination of control methods
We will be asking residents to survey their properties and locate the problem areas where rabbits are most active to enable a targeted control. Then to establish a Rabbit Reduction Group with assistance by Council for ongoing control.
